Advertising spaces

Some pages reserve space for future advertising. These are currently layout placeholders: no Google AdSense advertisements, advertising scripts, or advertising cookies are active. If advertising is enabled later, this notice and the consent controls will be updated to explain the providers, data use, and choices before ad services are activated.

News headlines

The news ticker retrieves publisher RSS feeds on the server and displays links to articles published on the current date in Mexico City. It does not embed publisher trackers or send your contact details to publishers. Following an article link takes you to the publisher’s website and its privacy practices.

Inquiries and correspondence

The contact form prepares a message in your own email app. It does not submit or store your form entries in a website database. If you send the email, I receive the name, email address, optional organization, selected service or invitation, and message you choose to share. I use this information to respond, assess the request, arrange an engagement, and maintain related correspondence. Please share only information relevant to your inquiry.

Engagements and PayPal invoices

For a confirmed paid engagement, relevant contact, billing, and engagement details are used to issue an invoice through PayPal and administer the work. Payment details are handled through PayPal; this website does not collect card or bank-account details. Pro bono invitations have no professional fee.

Cookies and browser storage

This website does not include analytics or advertising trackers. It uses local browser storage to remember your privacy choice for up to 180 days. With your permission, it also remembers your selected text size across pages and visits. If you choose essential storage only, text-size changes work on the current page but are not saved by the site. Hosting, authentication, and security services may use their own essential cookies or technical records. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer, withdraw preference-storage permission, or clear stored data in your browser.

Hosting and external services

The website is hosted through Sites. Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, and browser information to deliver and protect the service. Email correspondence is handled by the email services involved. Links to LinkedIn, Facebook, Substack, publishers, and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Opening an external link or subscribing on Substack is your choice; this website does not automatically subscribe you or send your contact-form entries to those platforms.

Retention and information requests

Correspondence and engagement records are kept as needed to respond, carry out agreed work, and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. I do not sell your inquiry information. You can email info@bilalmirza.me to request access, correction, or deletion of information you have shared, or ask about its use. Requests are considered subject to applicable obligations and your location. Information processed by external providers is also governed by their own policies and available controls.
